The Arena Administrator is responsible for receiving the readers who have been called into the Arena, and telling them to wait until a Runner comes to escort them to their reading place. When they arrive they are checked into the Master Protocol.

The Arena Administrator alone directs and coordinates all activities in the Arena and has an open telephone connection to the Head Protocolist in the Control Center in the Administration Hall.

When a reader doesn't arrive at the appointed time at the Arena Administration, the Control Center must be notified.
